After you have contacted us and expressed interest in learning more about Compassionate Relocations, we will spend a brief time discussing your relocation needs over the phone. If we determine that our services are appropriate for your relocation needs, we will schedule a Client Consultation at your home.
During the initial visit, we will conduct a detailed room-by-room visual inventory of the home, discuss with you which items you are taking to your new residence, and review the floor plan of your new residence. From this information, Compassionate Relocations will revise the floor plan to include the items that will be moved to the new location.
The items you do not want will be given to family or friends, auctioned, sold through an estate or garage sale, or donated to a favorite charity. Should your current residence need cleaning, repairs, or yard work, an estimate for these services will be provided upon request. We can also provide real estate services.
The Client Consultation will be the first step in the transition process. Pricing is determined by the service package you select and the size of your house. A written estimate will be provided for the level of service requested.
Service Level 1 Package In the Service Level 1 Package, Compassionate Relocations provides a detailed floor plan of your new residence showing the placement of your items and list of approved licensed and bonded vendors to help you relocate. We provide you with a list of two or three vendors you can call for help in packing and organizing, house cleaning, carpet cleaning, landscaping, painting, home repair, and moving. The list will also include charities you can call to pickup clothing, appliances, and furniture for donation. A consultation fee will be charged for this service. Service Level 2 Package Like the Service Level 1 package, the Service Level 2 Package includes a detailed floor plan of your new residence showing the placement of your items and list of approved licensed and bonded vendors to help you relocate. The primary difference is rather than you doing the entire relocation process yourself, you can elect to have Compassionate Relocations facilitate certain tasks while you handle the tasks you feel confident you can complete yourself. Service Level 3 Package With the Service Level 3 Package, Compassionate Relocations handles all coordination and facilitation of the relocation and transition process. We give you a “time line” and provide a detailed analysis on how the process will be completed.
