Elderly womanCompassionate Relocations (CRI) understands that finding a new home and community to live in can be overwhelming. Therefore, we offer Placement Services to help you with the task of finding a new place to live.

At no cost to you, we will personally assist you in your search.  CRI can do this at no cost to you as we are paid a referral fee from the community you choose.

CRI's Placement Service makes finding an independent, assisted living, board and care homes, or memory care community in the Sacramento metropolitan area an easy and educational process.

By providing us your or your loved one’s medical condition and housing preferences, we will provide you with a selection of reputable senior communities that meets your specific criteria. Then, after you have found an assisted-living community you feel comfortable with, we can help you downsize and relocate to the new living arrangements.

We researched the following types of communities:

·       Retirement and Independent Living is for seniors with an active lifestyle.  These communities offer a warm and relaxed atmosphere along with many amenities.  There are many choices to choose from with world class chefs and fitness centers with indoor swimming pools and spas.  Spacious studios, one and two bedroom apartments and cottages are offered at many retirement communities.

·       Assisted Living is for seniors who do not need 24-hour care but may need some support and activities offered in a home-like atmosphere.   Assisted-living communities are licensed to provide room and board with staff on duty 24 hour/day.  They offer intermittent nursing services, medication management,  and assistance with dressing and personal hygiene. These communities feature studios, one and two bedroom apartments with common areas that include laundry programs, housekeeping and meals.

Board and Care Homes is a housing facility for seniors or individuals with disabilities who want or need to be in a group living situation and who may need assistance with personal care and daily living activities.  Typically, a Board and Care facility is selected with 24-hour, non-medical supervision is needed or desired.  Licensed Board and Care Homes are often a converted single-family home with up to 6 residents.

·      Memory Care provides special needs for seniors diagnosed with some form of memory loss. Memory care can be provided in a special unit within an assisted-living community or a free-standing facility.  Memory-care communities specialize in person-centered care designed for people with all stages of memory loss.  Residents receive 24 hour health care assisting with medications, bathing, dressing and housekeeping.  They are encouraged to participate in life enhancement activities.  Many memory-loss facilities offer private and semi-private bedrooms with meals.
